Liver Diseases

Liver diseases have no specific signs or symptoms, but may be confused with other signs or symptoms; thus explaining the importance of regular clinical & laboratory examinations, especially in a country like Egypt, where liver diseases are wide spread.

 There are specific laboratory tests, including liver function tests, analysis of various liver viruses, tumor markers and antibodies that are performed at different stages of liver diseases including: at diagnosis, during follow-up & to determine response to treatment.
