Precautions and Preparation
Please inform the receptionist or physician if you have recently taken iron treatment or undergone a blood transfusion.
Fasting for 6-8 hours is required; water is allowed.
Please inform the receptionist or physician if you have undergone a blood transfusion or are taking medications containing corticosteroids.
Abstain from sexual intercourse and ejaculation (including nocturnal emission) for 4 consecutive days. It is preferable to provide the semen sample at the laboratory and ensure the entire sample, including the first drops, is collected. If collected at home, the sample must be delivered to the laboratory within 20 minutes.
